Ballygraffan International Horse Trials provides a great day out for all the family and equestrian enthusiasts alike. This year, the 2-day event will incorporate Dressage and Show Jumping on Saturday 26h April followed by Cross-Country on Sunday 27th April. Running over the weekend again this year we anticipate a significant number of spectators and participants.

PR/Promotion
The event has superb media support, being featured on TV, radio and printed media. Thanks to a growth in sponsorship support due to the increased success of the event we will be investing in increased promotional activities this year, provisionally including:

  • Poster Campaign
  • Radio Campaign
  • Strategic Advertising
  • Significant PR Campaign

As always, leaflets and posters will be distributed widely throughout the province and again we have the support in the Ards Borough Council & Ards Tourism promotional literature this year as well as many event website listings. Those businesses joining the Market Village area will be included in promotional opportunities when possible and will all be listed in the programme and featured on the website.

Early commitment will ensure increased opportunity for inclusion in promotional literature.

Stand Space/Cost*
The cost of taking space over two days is £75+vat (£88.12) for a standard size, though the price may vary for oversized stands. If electricity supply is required there is an additional cost of £25 (Please advise of requirements when booking in order to confirm availability). Traders will be required to supply their own stand and covers as necessary, the allocated site is outdoor.

New Addition
A NEW covered area is to be provided this year - with priority given to accommodate Arts & Crafts Trade stands. It will be an open-sided covered marquee with general lighting. An additional £40 is required to be housed within this covered area.

Times
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:
Saturday 09.30am – 4.00pm
Sunday 10.00am – 4.30pm
To facilitate set up, traders are allowed entry to the site at 7.30am on Saturday, and all stands must be fully setup by 9am.

Directions
From the roundabout on the Comber by-pass take the Killinchy Road towards Killyleagh. After about 2 miles, follow the signs for the Lorry Park, turning left at Ballygraffan Road. Look out for the Marquee on the right hand side the Market Village area is close to it. Once you have off -loaded please re-park you car/van in the area allocated.
