FEHL QUALIFIERS AND TRAINING DAY RETURN TO BALLYGRAFFAN
The dates have been announced for the Future Event Horse League (FEHL)
Qualifier and Training Day at Ballygraffan.
For the second successive year, Ballygraffan will be hosting the Northern
Qualifier for the FEHL. The competition is open to 4 and 5 year old Irish
bred horses and will take place on Wednesday 23rd July and it will also
be one of the qualifiers for the popular Young Event Horse Class at RDS
in August.
Now in its 9th year, the FEHL is a catalyst for the identification, production
and promotion of the best Irish bred horses that might compete on the
world stage in Eventing.
Towards this aim, a Training Day will take place at Ballygraffan on Tuesday,
15th JULY offering a chance for competitors to prepare and train their
young horses under expert guidance. The legendary Tommy Brennan will take
the jumping training and Yvette Truesdale will offer her experience of
ground work dressage training for the young horses. It is an ideal opportunity
to learn from experts and to acquaint your horse with the type of fences
they are likely to encounter at the qualifier.
Places for the Qualifier and the Training Day must be booked in advance
and further details of the FEHL are available on www.fehl-ie.com or by
phoning Maria Klange-Lynch on 00353 87 925 1716.
